"Hoshi no Tama" ( ほしのたま ) means "Star Ball" in Japanese. They are magic Jewels carried by Kitsune (fox spirits) and said to contain their own souls. A kitsune cannot be without her Ball for very long otherwise she will die. If you are lucky to get one of these gems, you can trade it with its owner for Protection.
I got the Kitsune mask from Adobe Stock, and I love it, being such a fan of Foxes and Anime (and all things Japanese!).
Here I display two versions: the original one and the "Hoshi no Tama Anime", which was made to look like an old Anime image, with cool shades of blue and a slightly grainy finishing.
