Bella's Gallery of Dog Art - Part 17 (Ai)

Another painting from Bella Lenahan's collection! Click on to read more about Marie Poodleise de Parma and the inspiring model behind it!

2015
Tonight Bella presents us with a lovely portrait of Marie Poodleise of Parma, dated from 1765. She was a beautiful, privileged Princess, renowned by her curly hair and the fact that she did not shed.

The model I used for this interpretation is the Standard Poodle Ai, from my Pinterest friend Yoko Ito-san. Ai is a fluffy, happy and kawaii Japanese girl and I wish I can meet her one day!

(Dedicated to Ms. Yoko Ito)
