In 1978, I became obsessed with all things Tolkien and started drawing Middle-Earth themed compositions. This one was completed in 1980 more or less, as far as I can remember and is based on the Saul Zaentz animation "The Lord of the Rings" that I saw around 8 times when released. Fort the drawing, I mostly used watercolours, oil pastels and colour markers. Since it is already very old, I have digitised it in Photoshop, then Illustrator and back to Photoshop again where I added the frame using Kyle Webster's brushes. Enjoy!
