Yet another Pre-Raphaelite artwork from Bella's collection. This painting is called "The Devout Childhood of St. Belleleth of Hungary" by the artist Charles Hailstone Collies (see also "Kennel Thoughts" by the same painter). St. Belleleth was, erm, a Saint, yeah, very pious and generous, living in the 13th Century. She distributed lots of kibbles and toys and blankets for the poor puppies of her community and had the complete support of her husband too. Besides she was also born a Princess. Nothing like these celebs nowadays. That bitch had loads of wisdom, generosity and beauty altogether!
(This work is based on Charles Allston Collins, "The Devout Childhood of St. Elizabeth of Hungary", from the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherood).
