"Architekton 2020.1" is today's rendering based on the tutorial by Jon Vio, and suggested by Anna Natter's post in the group today. Back to my lessons in the Industrial Design school years ago, it was a blast from the past. Here, shapes are entirely based on Malevich's Suprematism movement, and colours after Mondrian's abstract art, as per Vio's tutorial. The whole composition is quite minimalist, at least compared to my characteristic "baroque" style.
The little blocky buildings are taken from the Architektons Malevich started creating around 1919, which were plaster blocks bringing his Suprematist art into the world of Architecture. Good to get out of a comfort zone, I think.
Thank you for watching as ever.
