A famous portrait by Thomas Dogsborough, "The Blue Pup" features the famous Rory the Terrier, a fashionista dog from the XVIIIth century, surrounded by ceramic tiles as a frame and a romantic floral wallpaper blended in the background sky.
Well... In reality, Rory is indeed a cute fashionista dog that lives in the US right now, and I have decided to portray him as Thomas Gainsborough's "Blue Boy", from 1777. He is a fluffy, happy terrier, and a bit of a poser too! Thus, the "Blue Boy" seemed very adequate to his flamboyant personality!
