"Certain Old Places", is my latest 3D composite/collage. I used parametric shapes in Dn, as well as my extruded stairs in Photoshop. The real cool things are the Lady Sipiere bust from the 19th Century, a 3d scan by Geoffrey Marchal for Sketchfab, and the pretty water lilies from Epic Games, re-colorised by me.
The statue is in the middle of a shallow pond, wet, abandoned. Her image has to do with some Gothic romances I have been reading lately, and also Susanna Clarke's Piranesi, where such a scene should be something to be found in the lower halls.
