"Too Young" celebrates Edgar Degas controversial sculpture "La Petite Danseuse de 14 Ans", Marie Van Goethem, and her sad life as an Opera young dancer. In those times, having such an occupation and posing as a model for young artists was not as glamourous as one is led to believe. On the contrary. She was indeed too young and still a little girl, as we see it happening nowadays as well. Adulthood seems to come way too fast, childhood becomes ephemeral.
