I have used an old drawing I made in the 70's, displaying a stylised horse from a cave painting and made a digital artwork in Illustrator and Photoshop, by adding a stone background and some patterned fabric element. I also used the curvature pen tool to smooth out the lines. At the time I think I wanted to be, among other things, an archaeologist, and was fascinated by cave art and everything "ancient". The original drawing from the 70's is displayed at the bottom in B&W. It was a simple drawing in encre de Chine over white paper. The modified "adult" artwork/collage is shown right below.
