Bella Lenahan has a collection of porcelain plates, long inherited from her ancestors. Tonight she is displaying some of her Joseph Collie Sitstiller, from the Royal Academy of the Poopsburgs in Vienna, XIX century. These beautiful plates are for display only because the family legend goes that if one put some food on the plates, that food will mysteriously disappear. I wonder why? These collages are based on the original artwork of Joseph Karl Stieler, Viennese miniaturist from the XIX century.
The Royal Poopsburgs Fine Porcelain
In this little project, I used some Austrian porcelain plates as a base for collages featuring Bella as a XIXth Century lady. They are based on the original artwork of Joseph Karl Stieler, Viennese miniaturist from the period.
